親愛的路陽、和生園、婆聯中心及附近地區的居民們，過去兩天，我們鄰近地區從未見過那麼多的警察、警車出現，還全副武裝戒備森嚴。如此鋪天蓋地的防暴演習，警察分明是在人群中製造恐懼氣氛，人們甚至發問，是否可以穿黃色的衣服？

在來臨的星期六，吉隆坡或許會發生一些暴力事件，但是這裏是亞庇，我們沙巴漢都是熱愛和平的人士。但是我們支持警方在一些地區駐守以撲滅罪案發行，以及預防非法移民漫遊街道。

律師告訴我們，

警方也一樣要守法。許多上班一族如沙巴進步黨黨員，都穿黃色制服。穿黃衣是合法的，到婆聯商業中心或和生園喝茶、喝咖啡也是合法的。現在沒有戒嚴，沒有宣佈緊急狀態，人民有自由活動的權力。只有非法移民沒有走動的自由。

警方設路障是沒有權力逮捕穿黃衣的人，也沒有權力叫穿黃衣的人士下車。警方設路障也不能阻止車子穿行，除非他們真的相信你有犯罪如打搶銀行的企圖。人民到和生園喝茶並不犯法。假如我們遠離或將我們的黃衣藏起來，那我們就等於輸了給這些以嚇唬人手段有企圖的人。

同樣的，看沙巴網絡電視台(Sabahtv.net) 推展禮也不犯法。這項推展禮將在一點半開始，祈禱及廣播等將在十五分鐘內完，沒有致詞，沒有遊行，沒有路障也沒有威脅到公共秩序。沒有遊行到州元首府也沒有遊行到其他地區。

爲了乾淨、自由和公正的選舉，包括進入媒體，好讓人民知道怎麼投票和投票給誰，沙巴進步黨將推展我們的互聯網電台及電視頻道。只有憑著乾淨、自由及公正的選舉，沙巴才能獲得自主權，和乾淨、為人民的沙巴政府。然而政府的電子媒體已經公然欺騙人民。有了您們的支持，沙巴網絡電視台(Sabahtv.net)將成為另外一個真正為人民發出乾淨，勇敢及真實的聲音。沙巴網絡電台(Radio Sabahtv )也將會廣播有關各種影響沙巴人民的課題。採用的語文包括國文、華文及嘉達山文(嘉達山語廣播是全球唯一的網絡嘉達山文互聯網電台)。

Dear residents of Luyang, Foh Sang, Bornion Centre and surrounding areas,

In the last two days, never before have we seen so many policemen in riot gear and police trucks in our neighbourhood. This overwhelming display of riot police is creating a climate of fear that people now even ask if they may wear yellow!

Maybe something violent might happen in KL this Saturday but this is Kota Kinabalu and Sabahans are peace loving people. We support our police to deploy the same policemen in curbing crimes and to deter illegal immigrants who roam our streets.

Lawyers advise us that the police are also bound by the laws. Many working people have yellow uniforms, like SAPP does. Wearing a yellow shirt is legal. Going to Bornion or Foh Sang for coffee is legal. Citizens have freedom of movement because there is no curfew. No emergency has been declared. Only illegal immigrants have no freedom of movement.

Policemen at road blocks have no right to detain people for wearing yellow shirts or ask passengers wearing yellow shirts to get off vehicles. Police road blocks may not prevent cars from passing unless they truly believe you intend to commit a crime like rob a bank. Going to Foh Sang for “yam cha” is not a crime. If we stay away and we store away our yellow clothes, then we would have lost to scare tactics.

Similarly, watching the launching of Sabahtv.net is not a crime. Starting at 1:30pm, the launching of Sabahtv.net will be over in 15 minutes with a prayer and radio/tv broadcasts. There will be no speeches, no marching, no traffic obstruction or threat to public order. There is no march to the Istana or anywhere else. The launch at the SAPP HQ and its immediate vicinity is a stationary event.

SAPP is launching an internet Radio and TV channel because clean, free and fair elections include access to the media so that people know what and who they are voting for. Only with clean, free and fair elections will Sabah gain autonomy and a clean government of the people, for the people, by the people of Sabah. But the government electronic media has become blatantly deceitful. With your support, Sabahtv.net can become a truly alternative voice of the people that is Clean, Brave and True (Bersih – Berani – Benar). Radio Sabahtv will also broadcast issues affecting ordinary people in Sabah. Languages are in Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese and Kadazan (the only internet Kadazan-language radio in the world).
